Here at La Vida Local, we strive to create the connectivity we see necessary to support a sustainable local economy and community.  Our current food system is on the brink of collapse.  It is already disastrous.  Non-sustainable models all eventually must come to an end.  Agri-business is trying to fix the disaster by layering science with more science, continuing the downward spiral...because they cannot provide the answer, which is a return to traditional farming methods, which are not feasible on a large scale.   Hence, the return of the small (now organic) farm.  One of our goals is to help connect the farm to the consumer through our buying club, which offers home delivery to most of Oakland County (and some bordering townships) for $5!  Download our shopping list above to get a feel for the types of things we offer, then send Julie an email to request our guidelines and further information.
